Welcome Screen

The Welcome screen is the first thing visitors see when they start the Tour experience. It introduces your layout and provides multiple paths to begin exploring.

Introduction Video

The left side of the screen features an embedded video player with your layout's overview video. This sets the stage for what visitors will discover — the different areas, interactive effects, and the technology behind the layout.

Below the video, a feature summary highlights what visitors can do:

• 🎮 Control interactive effects (lights, sounds, animations)
• 🗺️ Explore layout areas with videos and explanations
• 🔧 Technical deep dives into electronics and automation
• 🎧 Audio commentary on construction techniques

Area Selection

The right side presents a grid of cards for each layout area. Tap any area to jump directly to its detail page. Areas are organized by location on the layout — for example:

• Tamarack Station (marked as Recommended for first-time visitors)
• Roseberry Yard
• Payette Subdivision
• Thunder City
• Eagle Nest

Layout Statistics

At the bottom of the welcome screen, key numbers about the physical layout:

• Scale — HO (1:87)
• Track Length — Total track footage
• Interactive Effects — Number of guest-accessible effects
• Layout Areas — Number of sections to explore
